Lagos govt signed N2bn relief fund for victims

The Lagos State Government has, announced its plan to set up a N2 billion relief fund for victims of Abule Ado fire explosion.

According to reports, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, made this known in a press conference on going at the state’s secretariat on Monday. these is to commiserate the affected victims that were massively involved in the pipeline Ado explosion and grant them a befitting residents across Lagos. The fire incident killed at least 15 people and rendered many persons homeless.

According the given records,it had reported how explosion occured after a truck hit gas cylinders in the area. The Lagos State Emergency Authority (LASEMA); the Lagos Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA); the State Safety Commission; the Lagos State Fire Service; the Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASAMBUS), as well as the Nigerian Civil Defence (NSCDC), the Nigerian Navy and the military are among the state and federal agencies were at the scene of the incident to ensure the safety of residents.
