Is fire explosion more dangerous than Coronavirus in Lagos State?

Through Lagos State, Nigeria have been able to perfectly handle and curb any disease and virus that finds it’s way to the country.

An example is the outbreak of Ebola that had infected and killed a number of people in other African countries but on getting to Nigeria, the health authorities in Lagos State ensured things doesn’t get out of hand.

This got the country so proud that at the outbreak of another deadly virus, COVID-19, the Federal Minister for Health stated that he would prefer Coronavirus come into the country through Lagos State.

And as predicted, it happened. The virus came in through an Italian who came into the country for a business visit. Luckily, the state’s Ministry of Health again curbed the spread of the virus to the admiration of other countries.

But a more dangerous element which could be worse than COVID-19 in the state is that of fire explosions. The recent occurrence being that of Abule Ado which took over 15 lives and destroyed 50 properties.

This year alone, the state had recorded over three fire accidents at different locations, killing a number of people and destroying lots of properties.

Though, it isn’t a disease or a virus that could spread from one person to another, fire explosion had been a regular occurrence in Lagos State since the beginning of the year 2020.

If we are to check, we’ll see that fire explosion is a more deadly and dangerous threat to our dear Lagos than any pandemic disease like Coronavirus and the state government must address this issue before it gets out of hand
